Travel Registration Fee Information

Registration fees for the 2023-2024 season are listed in the corresponding tabs.

Per North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) policy, players must fulfill their financial obligations in full to the club as part of their registration with the club. Registration fees are collected through the registration system, and can be paid in full upon registration, or to assist with financial planning, the club offers an installment payment plan to spread payments over several months. Deposits are nonrefundable. Questions should be directed to admin@neuseriverfa.org

NRFA offers financial assistance to members in the Travel and Recreation programs who demonstrate financial need. Families are encouraged to review the Financial Aid information and submit the application no later than June 30th. Questions should be directed to treasurer@neuseriverfa.org

Registration fees cover the following items:

Coach Compensation
League membership fees
Referees fees for primary league
Field usage fees
NCYSA or US Club Soccer Fees (includes 1 player pass per player + insurance)
Goalkeeper Fall & Spring Training sessions for Academy and Classic Players
Weekly Training
Video Technology

**Please note that uniforms and your family’s personal expenses related to tournaments (i.e. meals, lodging, mileage) remain separate from the NRFA Registration fee.

Academy Registration Fees

The Academy program is a greater financial commitment than recreational soccer. Club fees cover items such as trainers, fields, administration, referee fees, player registration, insurance, team festival fees, coach’s travel/expenses, and items of that nature. Fees can be paid at once or divided into 10 monthly payments. Financial assistance is available for those who apply and qualify.

Academy Program U9-U10 (2013-2012) - $1,180

Classic Registration Fees

Classic soccer is a greater financial commitment than Academy or recreational soccer. Club fees cover items such as trainers, fields, administration, referee fees, player registration, insurance, team tournament fees, coach’s travel/expenses for tournaments. Fees can be paid at once or divided into monthly payments. Financial assistance is available for those who apply and qualify.

Classic Program U11-U12 (2011-2010) - $1,850
Classic Program U13-U14 (2009-2008) - $1,910
Classic Program U15-U19 (2007-2003) - $1,345

Financial Aid

The Neuse River Futbol Alliance Board of Directors realizes that the cost of playing competitive youth soccer can be outside the means of some families. With that in mind, we have created a Scholarship Fund to help assist those families from a financial need base perspective.
The purpose of the Youth Scholarship program is to provide underprivileged or needs-based youth the opportunity to train, develop and play youth soccer in our community. It is intended to serve as a financial assistance program for those applicants and families requiring temporary or permanent assistance.

Scholarships are available for all levels of play offered by the organization and shall cover some percentage of Neuse River FA registration fees. Please note for those receiving an award it requires a full season or full-year commitment depending upon the age group of the team.

To be considered, candidates must submit a completed application form, along with ALL required information by the appropriate deadlines.

Fall Deadlines:

June 30 for Classic play

Spring Deadlines:

December 1 for Classic play

To be eligible, candidates must first demonstrate a financial need for assistance, commit to making 75% of all practices and games for the season, as well as commit to volunteering hours of service to the organization.

A committee will review all applications. The review process will include scoring & ranking of each application.

After review, applicants will be notified by mail or e-mail of their acceptance. Notification will occur no later than 30 days from the application deadline.

Jadyn Rose Scholarship

In 2022, the NRFA family lost a loved member to a car accident. In honor of Jadyn we are kicking off the Jadyn Rose Scholarship Fund. Jadyn loved soccer.

She put her heart on the field at each game and cheered her teammates on from the sidelines with her mom beside her coaching.

This team became a family, and family was everything to her. Jadyn would want any kid to have the opportunity to play and create a family with NRFA, no mater the cost.

Funds from this scholarship will go to cover registration fees at all level of play from Recreation, Academy and Classic.
